Let’s take a moment to admire just how beautiful beer is. Don’t worry, I’m not being discriminatory - I mean inside and out. This week we have a small line-up of fresh finds but that doesn’t make it any less amazing. Check them out.
MO’ MONEY, MO PROBLEMS? NAH. MO’ MONEY, MO BEER.
From good old Maple Ridge comes Silver Valley Brewing with their latest “Money City Maniac” Dark Coffee Cerveza. Silver Valley collaborated with Smoking Gun Coffee Roasters to make this Dark Cerveza style lager taste like a roasted caramel-toffee infused coffee with a mild bitterness and grainy finish. It’s an easy-drinking coffee/beer mix and they hit the mark with this one. It’s smooth and not too heavy, making it the perfect companion with your breakfast… cause you know what they say, the best hangover remedy is to just drink more beer. Do they say that? Or is that just me?
TWO DOLLARS NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD. AM I SEEING THINGS?
Big Rock Brewing brought back their Signature Citradelic Single Hop IPA. The hop you ask? It’s all in the name: Citra. You may want more so bad that you start seeing things… but nothing in the beer is making that happen. It’s all you. And get this, we have it on for $2.00 ALL IN while supplies last. The dry-hopped Citra hops give off crazy amounts of citrus and tropical notes in this brew. The perfect addition to your summer line-up, available in tall cans at our store. Come get it quick cause this beer for this price won’t last long!
DON’T WAKE THE BEAR! WELL, THEY ALREADY DID.
Here we have two new and unique beers from Driftwood Brewing to introduce to our store. First, we have the brand new Shokunin Koji Ale which is brewed with koji, rice, traditional sake yeast, and surprisingly - NO hops. This leaves you with a dry, tart brew with stone fruit and citrus notes. Next up is their Mad Bruin Sour Brown Ale. This one has come back from hibernation after two years of hanging out in beer-aged barrels untouched. Now, mixed with fresh malty beer, fruit, and a bit of oaky vanilla - the Mad Bruin is back and more awake than ever. Try them BOTH! Get bang for your buck.
I’M PEACHY KEEN ON THIS BEER, AND YOU WILL BE TOO.
Peach-flavoured anything, that’s good. But Odin Brewing’s Galactic Peach Dragon IPA? That’s out-of -this-world good. This limited edition beer is made with peaches galore and fruit-forward hops to bring out that peach flavour even more, this beer is at the peak of fruity goodness. It’s not sweet, just a punch of peach and a whole lot of refreshing for those nights spent watching the sunset with a beer in your hand.
